NAME: Alan Drake Denitia ALIAS None yet RACE: Human AGE 17 HOME WORLD: Guildtown: Guildtown is a town locked in the middle of the desert. In its center runs an infinite oasis that springs water about noon of every day. Guildtown is run by a series of guilds that do various jobs. Normally most guilds are friendly and extremely peaceful, as they must to survive in such close quarters to each other. There is only one guild that remains forever secluded to the others. HOME BASE: None, however, he spends a lot of time in Twilight Town. WHO AM I? ALLIANCE: Himself PERSONALITY: "You should count yourself lucky. I'm not being paid to kill you." Alan cares for one person and one person alone: himself. He doesn't care for helping weaker beings and he definitely does not care for saving people if there's no money in it. All he wants is to turn a good profit. Pay Alan enough, however, he'll kill a kitten if that's what you want. He has no remorse for turning on others and never thinks twice about a betrayal. That being said, he is not of a bad guy. He doesn't go murdering just for the sake of murdering, nor does he steal from others. He is noble in that regard and holds himself accountable to several of his own laws. Outside those laws, he does not care. Alan is more or less a friendly sort, but sometimes one could say is that he seems too happy. He has the same expression for anger as he does sadness and happiness: a large toothy grin. He trusts no one. He is more than willing to make friends, and easily makes enemies. But there is no one he can rightly say he would trust with his life. It isn't that he has trust issues, he just hasn't found anyone that deserves his time and money. He doesn't shun others away but don't expect him to save you without offering a bit of cash. LIKES: Money, Work, Riddles DISLIKES: Slavery, Wonton destruction, Trust FEARS: Love. Love means he has to stop caring about himself. Love means he has to look out for someone else. Love means that he has to devote himself to someone more than him. And he will not have it. HABITS: Grumbles a lot [style=width: 390px; background-color: 011a25; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 3px; text-align: left; font-size: 27px; font-family: wire one; color: fefdfc; text-transform: uppercase; letter-spacing: 0; padding-top: 10px; padding-left: 10px;]DON'T JUDGE ME HAIR COLOR: Green EYE COLOR: Brown HEIGHT: 5'11" WEIGHT: 165 pounds BUILD: Fit but towards the lean side SCAR(S): Several scars from a whip over his dragon tattoo BIRTHMARK(S): A white thin line on his left thigh, about 2 inches, vertical TATTOO(S): Draconic Yin Yang symbol on his back. PIERCING(S): None CLOTHING: A brown button down jacket over a black sleeveless vest. Below is a white tank top. He wears a brown leather belt to hold up his blue jeans and wears white sneakers. SMELL: Honey and lilacs VOICE: It is uncharismatically bland and underwhelming. It isn't low but's not high. It doesn't stand out in a crowd. He doesn't gneerally go over a yell. It seems to have only slight variations when he's feeling different emotions. GENERAL APPEARANCE: If anything, Alan looks normal. He isn't the type to be pointed out in a crowd. He wears the same style no matter what place or time, however. He has a lackadaisical look on his face but he still smiles. All in all, Alan looks nothing more than the average civilian just trying to get through the day. HOW I FIGHT WEAPONS: None FIGHTING STYLE: Alan has no true fighting style. He let's his mind do the work for him, but he does know how to street fight. His immense strength makes up for the lack of technical training. MAGIC: Strength of a Dragon - Is incredily strong, to the point where he can life up to 1200 pounds without breaking a sweat. Alan has honed his mind into becoming a powerful tool. He can concentrate on various subjects at the same time without so much of ca strain. He can talk and think separately and is rarely in a panicked state. Because of this, magical abilities are all the more stronger. He controls two flat barely visible shields with his mind that encircle him and take direct commands from him. Savior's Defense - This shield is a whiteish color. It's size flucutates depending on teh size of the attack. It can grow to as big as a small dome for Alan to take cover under. It can take much punishment but must cool off after a while else it will crack and break, requiring even more time to recover. This is the primary shield Alan uses to defend himself. Any pure dark attacks will be absorbed and stored. This energy may be used for his transformations or can be used to restore his own stamina. Demon's Safeguard - This shield is a black color. It remains a forever 1 foot diameter shield that floats in front of Alan. This shield is indesctrubible but because of it's small size it cannot protect Alan from large attacks. It can teleport to anywhere Alan can see but within a ten yard radius. This shield without Alan's command will simply block any attack thrown at Alan whether he commands it or not. However once it has blocked it will remain wary of the source of the attack for a few seconds, taking its attention from other attackers. Any pure light attacks will be absorbed and stored. This energy may be used for his transformations or can be used to restore his own stamina. Draconic form - Alan can shapeshift into a dragon, black or white depending on which type of energy he used, by harnessing the power that his shields have absorbed. The dragon will be white if Alan absorbs light energy and dark if he absorbs dark energy. Dragon of the Savior - This dragon is a more controlled and conscious dragon. It is considered the weaker of the two transformations, but it is also the more dangerous. Alan is much more intelligent in this form and retains much of his mental abilities as well as the Savior's Defense. He loses Demon's Safeguard but the other shield's strength becomes nigh invulnerable and can cover a much larger radius. Pure dark attacks will pierce the shield as well as do great harm to this form. This dragon's main abilities are to use teeth and claw to fight and release a bright whitish orange fire from it's maw. Hell's Guardian - This dragon is a powerful dragon that is extremely powerful but is very animalistic. Alan will simply rage destroying everything in sight. He loses the Savior's Defense ability but his scales are covered in the Demon's Safeguard. While he is this dragon, Alan is nigh invincible, but he has an extremely fatal flaw: he is susceptible to pure light attacks. During his rampage, Alan will use a dark blast of intense heat to destroy his surroundings as well as use his body to destroy anythign and everything. STRENGTH: Incredibly strong (can pick up 600 pounds without much of a sweat) and very smart; considerably strong defense WEAKNESSES: Slow and has a low amount of stamina MY PAST HAUNTS ME FAMILY: None of considerable note HISTORY: Most of Guildtown was a nice place to live in. Most of Guildtown was a lovely, free, and wonderful place to be in, even though it was in the middle of a desert. Most of Guildtown was a quiet peace-loving community. Alan wasn't in "most of Guildtown." Alan wasn't free. Alan was alone. He had been alone as far back as he could remember. He was sold to the Dragon Guild of Dark Guildtown, the low slums of Guildtown. As he grew up, Alan learned that the only thing he was ever allowed to do was to serve. He got by on nothing but table scraps that he had to beg for. He was kept in iron chains. And he had been only seven when he got his first tattoo. With the clan's symbol etched into him he was forced to learn how to live with nothing. And in that time Alan's potential as a beneficial member of society shattered. And was reborn as a dark hope for change. Alan stopped crying then. They beat him whenever he was insolent, using their whips to punish him. But Alan never cried. He refused. He would have rather died than let this continue and weep over it. And little by little, Alan began to grow stronger. He left Dark Guildtown frequently to learn what he could from the other guilds. He always made sure to hide his identity as a slave of Dragon Guild. Anyone caught helping the Dragon Guild's member was hanged for sure. But Alan waited patiently until he would be sure hat his time to remove the shackles of pain and misery would be released. That was when a man came. He was robed in dark clothing, but Alan didn't care much what he looked like. It was what he was told by the man. "Do you lust for power?" Alan did not even think about what he was accepting. He dropped to his knees and begged. He pleaded. He wept. "...Please...give me... give me power... I want to crush... I..." But Alan did not get to finish. He felt a powerful tremor from inside him. The man was gone but in his place floated two round disks. One white and one black, they began to hover around him as if he was the universe and they revolved around him. One of the Dragon Guild's slavemaster found him playing with his new objects and went to crack the whip against Alan for not doing his chores. The black disk floated over and blocked the disk. Alan smiled. Alan kept his secret. He thought he could train when other's slept. He thought if he could get stronger he could rise to the top. And Alan no long thought about it with maybes and ifs. At age fourteen Alan began working even harder. He learned a few things about himself. He was a lanky sort but he was not built for speed. He could run pretty well but he was not nimble in a fight. Nor could he outlast people in a one on one match when it came to blows. Or could he? Alan also found out that he was immensely strong. He could lift objects by himself that generally needed two or three peopole. And the more he learned about himself, the stronger he became. Until at last he finally did what he wanted: He challenged the guildmaster at age sixteen. It was one of the rights of any member of any guild. He or she could challenge the guildmaster for any reason. Upon winning the guildmaster grants whatever the winner wishes within reason. But in the Dragon Guild, there was only one reason to ever challenge the guildmaster: to become the guildmaster yourself. It was only two days before the two would meet in the battle ring when the black monsters came. They came like a swarm. Alan was able to defeat them with ease but there were always more. And as more of them came he felt the a sense of blackness swelling within him. As it continued to grow his strength increased. He paid no mind to it. That is until he turned into a horrifying black dragon. When he awoke he found all of Guildtown immersed into destruction and filled with these black monsters. He felt tired and weak and so he ran. He ran away into the open desert. And he passed out once more. BEHIND THE CHARACTER ALIAS: Xander EXPERIENCE: 9 years FOUND US: Support Boards OTHER CHARACTERS: None MY ABILITY ROLEPLAY SAMPLE: Alan sighed as the heartless leapt at him. He didn't feel like fighting these creatures. Every time he went on a job, they were there. Every time he had to visit a new world, they were there. And every time they saw him, they attacked. It was boring. And he wasn't paid to fight them, usually. Savior expanded and blocked the small creature repelling it backwards a few feet. "Damn critters..." he muttered as he walked up to the heartless. He grabbed it by the throat and crushed it. The heartless became a puff of black smoke. Alan shrugged. It was always like this in Radiant Garden though. He was always put into situations that he hated. He didn't remember not being in a less than favorable setting. At home he was a slave. Twilight Town, a criminal. In Traverse Town, a troublemaker. But Alan hardly cared. All he wanted was to get stronger and then be the master of his own guild. Then they would bow to him. They would be the salves. It was a petty sort of revenge but Alan couldn't care less. It was his way of doing things and nothing was going to stop him. He turned the corner down an alley only for two more heartless to appear from the shadows. The shadow attacked him but Guardian blocked the attack with ease. Alan retaliaated with a full punch to the creature's gut which hurled it into the wall and caused the thing to dissipate. "You guys just never learn do you." |
